My name is Monica Willyard, and I train champions who go the distance in the home business arena. I have worked in the home business and technology fields for over 20 years. I'm living proof that people can make a good living while working from home doing something that's fun. Here's a little information about me. I'm a stay at home single mom with a 13 year old daughter. I was born blind and also have a form of arthritis that requires me to use assistive technology. For me, that means using a screenreader, speech recognition software, and a programmable remote control to make my life run smoothly. I have learned the art of making my computer work for me in the way I need it too so I can focus on the business of life. :)

I have a lot of fun with lots of different kinds of software. Gadgets make my mouth water, and music makes my world go round. I'm usually involved in some kind of beta testing cycle and actively look for gadgets that are sold to the general public that happen to be accessible as well. I've noticed that there aren't many women writing about technology. Maybe I have something fresh and new to offer. I'm a single mom with a sighted teenaged daughter who continually teaches me something exciting and wonderful as she grows. I like to cook, am active in my church, play Texas Hold Em for fun, and am an incurable bookworm. I'm a Star Trek fan, a history buff, and like to travel.

Most of all, I'm interested in getting to know other people and teaching disabled people the skills they need to support the life they want to lead.
